Tea Tender – Specialty Tea Service

About the role

The Tea Tender joins Coseitea’s on‑site team in Guayaquil to prepare, serve, and present specialty teas, herbal infusions, and functional beverages to guests and clients. This full‑time position focuses on delivering an engaging tasting experience while upholding the brand’s high standards of quality and hygiene.

Key responsibilities

• Brew and customize tea beverages according to established recipes, both hot and cold.
• Explain flavor profiles, ingredients, and functional benefits to guests.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow food‑safety and hygiene procedures.
• Manage inventory of teas, syrups, and related supplies, ensuring proper stock rotation.
• Support product demonstrations, sampling events, and collect guest feedback.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure consistent quality and excellent customer service.

Required profile

• Strong beverage preparation and service experience, preferably in cafés, tea houses, or hospitality venues.
• Excellent communication skills to engage guests and explain products clearly.
• Attention to detail, cleanliness, and adherence to food‑safety standards.
• Basic inventory‑tracking abilities.
• Interest in specialty tea, herbal infusions, and functional beverages.
• Ability to stand for extended periods in a fast‑paced environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality or gastronomy training is a plus.

Required skills

• Hot and cold infusion brewing techniques.
• Barista or HoReCa service practices.
