Senior Security Consultant

About the role

Our client, a fast‑growing cybersecurity consulting firm, is seeking a Senior Security Consultant to lead end‑to‑end security engagements for U.S.‑based companies. The role is fully remote and offers high autonomy, allowing you to shape cloud and corporate security programs from strategy through implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical security assessments across AWS, GCP and Azure, including cloud configuration reviews, vulnerability assessments and architecture evaluations.
• Deploy, configure and manage security technologies such as EDR, SIEM, CSPM, MDM, IAM and SSO.
• Manage corporate IT security operations – endpoint protection, identity providers (Okta, Azure AD, Google Workspace), onboarding/off‑boarding and device compliance.
• Design and implement security programs and roadmaps aligned with SOC 2, ISO 27001 and HIPAA frameworks.
• Conduct client meetings, drive technical workstreams independently and deliver executive‑level reports, remediation plans and documentation.
• Support security questionnaires and collaborate with technical teams to ensure accurate responses.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on cybersecurity experience in technical roles.
• Previous consulting or professional‑services experience with multiple clients.
• Deep expertise in at least two areas: cloud security (AWS/GCP/Azure), corporate IT security, endpoint security, or application security.
• Experience implementing controls for SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA or similar frameworks.
• Strong technical documentation and communication skills in professional English.
• Nice to have: independent engagement leadership, relevant certifications (CISSP, OSCP, AWS Security Specialty) and experience building security programs end‑to‑end.
