Software Engineer

About the role

The Software Engineer will apply a systematic approach to develop, deliver, maintain and operate software products and services. Working closely with product managers, designers and quality assurance, the role focuses on translating customer needs into high‑value solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Participate actively in all phases of the SDLC, including planning, stand‑up and story grooming.
• Develop code using Test‑Driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Integration (CI) practices.
• Deliver small, independent tasks as an individual contributor.
• Collaborate with product owners, development managers and experience designers to refine requirements and designs.
• Contribute to cross‑functional teams from inception through customer delivery.
• Improve development processes, standards and best practices.
• Pair‑program with junior and senior developers and mentor less‑experienced team members.
• Troubleshoot and resolve simple engineering escalations and bugs within the area of expertise.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
• 6–12 months of professional software engineering experience.
• Ability to interact effectively with teammates, colleagues and customers.
• Willingness to travel minimally to company locations and events.
