Senior Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

Verndale is looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join its Infrastructure team. The role supports internal employees, client Azure hosting environments, and the 24x7 help desk, ensuring efficient and secure technology operations.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to service requests via web, email, or phone within SLA targets.
• Prioritize and organize tickets and internal projects.
• Maintain and troubleshoot corporate environments, applications, and client Azure platforms.
• Provide technical support and training to colleagues.
• Collaborate with engineering, leadership, and cross‑functional teams to achieve business goals.
• Participate in on‑call rotations to guarantee service uptime.

• Excellent customer service and strong English communication skills.
• Detail‑oriented with strong troubleshooting abilities.
• Effective at organizing and prioritizing multiple tasks.
• Experience thriving in fast‑paced, high‑pressure environments.

• Microsoft Azure cloud environment management.
• Atlassian Jira and Confluence administration.
• Enterprise Identity and Access Management (Entra ID, Azure AD, Active Directory).
• Windows 10, Windows 11, Windows Server.
• macOS and Linux operating systems.
• Computer setup, support, and networking principles.
• Infrastructure and application monitoring tools.
• Microsoft 365 suite (Exchange Online, Outlook, etc.).
