Part-time Weekend Waiter

About the role

Pecorino – Hand Crafted Pasta is looking for a friendly, part‑time waiter to join our team on weekends in Cumbaya. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring they enjoy a warm, Italian‑inspired dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, present menus and take orders accurately.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.
• Set, clear and reset tables throughout the shift.
• Check in with guests to confirm satisfaction and address any concerns.
• Process payments, handle cash and operate the POS system.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure correct order delivery.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the dining area.
• Assist teammates during busy periods.

Required profile

• Previous experience in table service or a similar hospitality role.
• Strong customer‑service attitude and clear communication skills.
• Basic math ability for cash handling and payment processing.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and carry trays or dishes.
• Reliability, punctuality and availability for evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Basic proficiency in Spanish and/or English, depending on clientele.
