About the role

We are a fashion retail company based in Quito looking for an organized and detail‑oriented Accounting Assistant. You will support the accounting team in preparing monthly financial statements, tax filings, and import cost allocations.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and prepare annexes for monthly balance sheets to support financial statements and external audits.
• Draft preliminary tax calculations and transactional annexes in compliance with current regulations.
• Allocate costs and settle import dossiers to ensure accurate accounting records.
• Verify that expense and merchandise invoices have correct retention percentages and all required supporting documents.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar accounting role.
• Intermediate proficiency in Excel.
• Experience with accounting software.
