IT Audit Associate (Risk Assurance Services)

About the role

PwC is hiring an Associate in its Risk Assurance Services line of service, based in Quito. The role sits within Assurance Support services and supports engagement teams and clients with advice on accounting, financial reporting and strategic business issues. As an Associate you work in a team of problem solvers, helping to resolve complex business issues from strategy to execution.

Key responsibilities

• Support engagement teams and clients with advice and counsel on accounting, financial reporting and strategic business issues.
• Ensure a complete and relevant exchange of information between consultants, engagement teams and clients.
• Provide expert advice on specific topics and support teams in resolving complex issues.
• Help clients and their subsidiaries evaluate the impact of accounting and reporting standards.
• Develop strong relationships with engagement teams and established audit clients.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Technology in Systems Engineering, Computer Science or related fields.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in IT audit, internal control and IT risk management.
• Intermediate English (B1).

Required skills

• IT knowledge: databases, operating systems, software engineering, IT governance.
• Basic knowledge of IT governance, management and security frameworks such as COBIT, ITIL, ISO 27001 or NIST.
• Basic accounting knowledge and international auditing standards.
• Data analysis tools such as Alteryx, IDEA and ACL.
• Intermediate Office utilities.
