Tech Support Specialist – Merchant Services

About the role

RedFynn is looking for a remote Tech Support Specialist to be the primary point of contact for merchants using its payment processing and SaaS solutions. You will troubleshoot terminal, POS, and payment processing issues while ensuring a smooth experience for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inbound technical support calls and emails from merchants.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with payment terminals, POS systems, and processing platforms.
• Assist with setup, installation, and configuration of payment terminals and gateways.
• Diagnose hardware, software, and connectivity problems and provide clear solutions.
• Escalate complex cases to Level 2 support when necessary.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, and processing vendors to resolve technical problems.
• Document all interactions and resolutions in the CRM/ticketing system.
• Research and test POS software and integrations as required.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in merchant services or a related field.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.

Required skills

• PAX, Dejavoo, Valor, ChargeAnywhere payment terminals.
• TSYS, FD processing platforms.
• Shopify, Clover, WooCommerce ecommerce integrations.
