Tech Lead – Sanity CMS (Remote, Latin America)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Tech Lead to drive large‑scale Sanity CMS migration projects for our U.S. clients. You will work remotely from anywhere in Latin America, integrating directly with the client’s designers and engineers and leading the technical delivery of complex content initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead architecture decisions and guide engineering teams through Sanity CMS migrations, including content modeling, data mapping, transformation, and deployment.
• Design and implement backend services and API‑driven architectures using TypeScript and Node.js.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders (product, content, engineering) to define migration strategies and ensure data integrity.
• Develop and maintain scalable distributed systems, RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints.
• Provide technical mentorship, identify risks, and drive best practices in modern JavaScript ecosystems (React, Next.js).

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional full‑stack software engineering experience.
• 3+ years in technical leadership roles, driving architecture and leading teams.
• Advanced English proficiency and a completed four‑year college degree.
• Extensive production experience with TypeScript, Node.js, and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Proven track record of large‑scale Sanity CMS migration projects, including content schemas, GROQ queries, and migration tooling.
