Tech Lead – Sanity CMS (Remote, Latin America)

About the role

FullStackFullStack is seeking an experienced Tech Lead to drive Sanity CMS migration projects for U.S. clients. This fully remote position allows you to work from anywhere in Latin America while collaborating daily with designers and engineers on the client’s team.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate into the client’s development team and partner with designers and engineers.
• Lead architecture decisions and guide engineering teams through complex CMS migration initiatives.
• Design and implement backend services, API‑driven architectures, and scalable distributed systems.
• Develop migration strategies, data mapping, transformation, and ensure data integrity.
• Implement integrations between enterprise platforms and modern headless CMS solutions.
• Identify technical risks, define mitigation plans, and collaborate with product, content, and engineering stakeholders.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional full‑stack software engineering experience.
• 3+ years in technical leadership roles.
• Advanced English proficiency and a completed four‑year college degree.
• Extensive production experience with TypeScript and Node.js.
• Proven track record of large‑scale CMS migrations, especially with Sanity CMS.
• Strong background in RESTful APIs, GraphQL, React or Next.js, and headless CMS architectures.
• Experience with document‑based databases, cloud platforms, and modern deployment workflows.
