Senior AWS DevOps Engineer (2-3 month contract) – Remote

About the role

We are seeking a Senior AWS DevOps Engineer for a 2‑3 month remote engagement. You will join a client’s existing design and engineering team, contributing to cloud infrastructure, automation, and delivery pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate with the client’s team and collaborate daily with designers and engineers.
• Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines on AWS.
• Automate cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure‑as‑Code practices.
• Support and optimize scalable, highly available AWS environments.
• Monitor, log, and troubleshoot cloud‑based systems to ensure performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Contribute to documentation and reusable libraries as needed.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional DevOps engineering experience.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Completed four‑year college degree.
• Proven experience working on Agile/Scrum teams.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week remotely.

Required skills

• AWS services: EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, IAM, VPC.
• Terraform for infrastructure automation.
• CI/CD pipeline design and implementation.
• Scripting with Python, Bash or PowerShell.
• Cloud security best practices.
• Monitoring and logging tools for cloud environments.
