Secondary Teacher – International School

About the role

The school seeks a dedicated Secondary Teacher to plan and deliver lessons for secondary students, support their academic and socio‑emotional development, and collaborate with the school community. The role involves classroom instruction, assessment, and participation in school activities while adhering to the institution’s policies and safeguarding principles.

Key responsibilities

• Plan lessons in advance, share plans with the Head of Level and Academic Coordinator, and prepare necessary teaching materials.
• Maintain up‑to‑date grade books, enter grades promptly, and design monthly assessments for each topic.
• Supervise playground duties, decorate the classroom, and record daily attendance.
• Collaborate with the Psychology Department to support students with academic, behavioral, or special‑needs issues.
• Participate in meetings, workshops, parent conferences, and school events.
• Facilitate community service projects, fundraising activities, and student participation in fairs.
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians and encourage their involvement in school activities.
• Adhere to school uniform policies and perform any other duties related to the position.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in education.
• Advanced proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing).

Required skills

• Proficiency in digital tools.
• Intermediate‑level Microsoft Office skills.
