About the role

The Psychopedagogue will work closely with teachers at Colegio Terranova to enhance teaching and learning processes. The role involves analysing student performance data, designing professional development, and supporting inclusive education initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Support teachers in planning, implementing and evaluating instructional programs.
• Analyse student performance data to identify needs and define interventions.
• Design and deliver professional training aligned with school priorities.
• Model effective teaching strategies and provide coaching and mentoring to staff.
• Assist in curriculum development, alignment and implementation.
• Develop and monitor individual learning plans and targeted interventions.
• Collaborate with school leadership on institutional improvement initiatives.
• Promote inclusive education practices, including differentiation and adjustments.
• Evaluate the impact of strategies and interventions on student outcomes.
• Work with families and external professionals when appropriate.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or equivalent (required).
• Proven experience as an effective teacher.
• Experience supporting teachers through coaching or training.
• Experience implementing evidence‑based intervention programs.
• Experience working with diverse students, including those with additional educational needs.
• Participation in school improvement initiatives (desirable).
• Strong knowledge of curriculum, pedagogy and assessment.
• Ability to analyse and interpret student data.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organisational and time‑management abilities.
