About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Asistente de Docente to join our team at Colegio Terranova. The position provides essential support to teachers and students by helping develop individualized support plans, assisting during classroom activities, and ensuring accurate documentation of student progress. The role is integral to fostering an inclusive learning environment and aligns with our commitment to student wellbeing and safety. The assistant will collaborate closely with teachers to adapt materials and ensure that each student receives personalized attention.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the development and implementation of individualized support plans for students.
• Provide direct support to students both in the classroom and during extracurricular activities.
• Monitor student progress, record observations, and maintain up‑to‑date documentation. Accurate record‑keeping supports ongoing assessment and informs instructional adjustments.
• Prepare, organize, and manage learning materials and resources needed for daily instruction.

Required profile

• Previous experience in learning support or a similar educational setting.
• Relevant certification or a degree in education, special education, or a related field.
