Salesforce Engineer

About the role

North Highland is looking for a Salesforce Engineer to join its Quito team. You will turn strategic visions into functional Salesforce solutions that drive lasting business impact.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Apex classes, triggers, Flows, Aura components, and Lightning Web Components.
• Collaborate with the Salesforce Architect and Administrator to validate requirements, security, scalability, and platform limits.
• Implement features across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Data Cloud, Experience Cloud, and use Data Loader for data migrations.
• Write, interpret, and critique technical specifications and perform unit testing.
• Gather requirements and present solution options to project stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 + years of hands‑on Salesforce development experience.
• Consulting mindset with the ability to work independently from start to finish.
• Authorized to work in Ecuador without visa sponsorship.
• Certified Salesforce Platform Developer I or II and Platform App Builder.
• Commitment to continuous personal and professional growth.

Required skills

• Salesforce development (Apex, Flow Builder, Aura, Lightning Web Components).
• Experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Data Cloud, Experience Cloud, Data Loader.
• Knowledge of Visualforce for legacy modernization.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Visual Studio Code and Salesforce Lightning Design System.
