Remote SOC 2 Staff Auditor (LATAM)

About the role

Insight Assurance is seeking a remote Staff Auditor to join its LATAM team. You will work on SOC 1, SOC 2, SOC 3, HIPAA, and other security and privacy assessments, helping clients achieve compliance and improve their control environments.

Key responsibilities

• Execute day‑to‑day activities of IT audit engagements (SOC 1, SOC 2, HIPAA) and readiness assessments.
• Evaluate the design and effectiveness of technology controls.
• Identify, document, and communicate audit findings to client management.
• Suggest performance‑improvement opportunities for assigned clients.
• Lead client meetings, maintain proactive communication, and build strong relationships.
• Provide weekly status reports and flag potential issues to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, cybersecurity, or management information systems.
• Minimum 1 year of experience performing IT audit engagements at a Big 4 or comparable audit/consulting firm.
• Strong oral and written English communication skills; Spanish is a plus.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and collaboratively.

Required skills

• Experience with GRC and compliance automation tools such as Vanta, Drata, or Secureframe.
