Operator I

About the role

We are seeking an Operator I to run converting line, packaging, and automated boxing equipment in our high‑volume manufacturing facility. The role ensures smooth production of cloth‑based wipes while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate converting line equipment to load, thread, cut, fold, saturate and stack various cloth materials.
• Run packaging equipment, including loading and threading film and labels to produce complete wipe packages.
• Control automated pick‑and‑place boxing lines, load boxes onto skids, shrink‑wrap, and transport pallets using a pallet jack.
• Perform cleaning, hand‑packing, and other support activities as needed.
• Read and follow equipment procedures, set up machines safely, and adjust settings to meet product specifications.
• Troubleshoot machine failures, make corrections, or involve maintenance.
• Document machine parameters on required forms and logs.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and act as backup for other positions.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years experience in a high‑volume manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and understand English instructions, charts, and indicators.
• Basic math skills, including fractions and decimals.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lb and work in warm or cold conditions.
