Node Developer – Remote

About the role

INDI is looking for a seasoned Node Developer to join its fully remote engineering team. You will help shape backend architecture, deliver new features quickly, and contribute to a high‑performing, innovative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable backend systems using best practices.
• Develop, extend, and maintain APIs for internal and external consumption.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced early‑stage startup setting.
• Ensure code quality through reviews, unit tests, and analytics.
• Automate workflows and build tools to boost engineering productivity.
• Define processes for product launches and releases.
• Participate in technical interviews to grow the engineering team.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional Node.js development experience.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with microservices architecture and cloud platforms.
• Advanced understanding of algorithms and IT infrastructure.
• Proficiency with agile methodologies.
• Solid grasp of SOLID principles, clean code, and design patterns.
• Fluent English communication skills.
