Local Data Coordinator – Master Data & EDI (10‑month contract)

About the role

We are looking for a Local Data Coordinator to lead data readiness and EDI activities for the SAP S/4HANA deployment in Guayaquil, Ecuador. The role is critical to ensure accurate master‑data migration, cleansing and stabilization during the 10‑month project.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the single in‑market point of contact for all master‑data and EDI deployment activities.
• Lead local data cleansing, enrichment and validation together with functional SMEs.
• Identify, resolve and escalate data‑quality issues such as duplicates, incomplete records or incorrect mappings.
• Support mapping of local master data to the global data model and align with process design.
• Participate in mock loads, migration testing, SIT, UAT and cut‑over rehearsals, reporting defects and ensuring ownership.
• Coordinate EDI readiness with local teams and trading partners, including validation, testing and issue resolution.
• Provide on‑site hyper‑care support after go‑live to drive rapid incident resolution and user confidence.
• Report progress, risks and decisions to the Local Deployment Lead.

Required profile

• Strong ownership and ability to coordinate across local SMEs, global and wave data teams.
• Experience with master‑data management and data migration in SAP environments.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deployment timelines.
