Investment Performance Analysis Associate 2

About the role
The Investment Performance Analysis Associate supports the Global Performance Measurement and Risk team by delivering accurate portfolio performance attribution and ensuring data integrity across multiple systems. You will work closely with portfolio managers, operations, and IT to resolve data issues and produce high‑quality analytical reports.
Key responsibilities
- Perform absolute and relative performance attribution, analyzing security selection, asset allocation, currency, and other factors.
- Reconcile and update portfolio and benchmark performance, investigating discrepancies at transaction, position, and pricing levels.
- Retrieve, validate, and upload data from various vendor systems into performance, risk, and analytics applications.
- Validate completeness and accuracy of data within departmental tools.
- Answer queries from analysts, operations associates, portfolio managers, and other stakeholders regarding performance calculations and audit procedures.
- Collaborate with Global Performance Measurement, Risk, Operations, and IT to resolve data issues and develop new analytical reports.
- Maintain and create best‑practice workflow processes and troubleshoot functional or quantitative issues.
- Participate in cross‑departmental initiatives to centralize performance reporting.
Required profile
- Post‑graduate degree, preferably an MBA in Finance; FRM/CFA or related certification is a plus.
- 2+ years of experience in a financial firm, with exposure to performance measurement preferred.
- Strong communication skills, ability to work flexible hours and handle pressure during quarter‑end periods.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
Required skills
- Good understanding of equity, fixed income, and derivative instruments.
- Knowledge of investment management, security analysis, portfolio management, and financial markets.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Familiarity with POINT, Yield Book, or FactSet platforms (preferred).
