About the role

We are looking for an experienced Insurance Account Executive to manage both general and personal lines for our clients in Quito. The professional will support the commercial team, handle quotations, policy issuance, and oversee the full lifecycle of claims, ensuring timely and high‑quality service.

Key responsibilities

• Provide operational support to the Commercial Manager, Commercial Head and sales force, including external advisors.
• Prepare accurate insurance quotations based on client needs and commercial requirements.
• Track quotations through issuance and ensure proper policy registration.
• Coordinate with insurance carriers on quotations, renewals, emissions and other commercial requests.
• Manage claims from notification to closure, keeping clients informed and liaising with insurers.
• Prospect new clients, generate business opportunities and advise on suitable insurance products.
• Achieve established commercial objectives and maintain long‑term relationships with clients, insurers and strategic partners.
• Identify improvement opportunities and communicate new business ideas.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or current studies in Business Administration, Commercial Engineering, Marketing or related fields.
• Minimum 3 years of proven experience in insurance companies or brokerage firms.
• Demonstrated ability to handle end‑to‑end insurance account management, including quoting, policy issuance and claims handling.
