DevOps Engineer (Azure + On-Premise) – Remote – Latin America

About the role

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our talent network and work remotely with U.S. clients on Azure‑based and on‑premise projects across Latin America. You will become an integral part of the client’s engineering team, collaborating daily with designers and developers.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, scale, and maintain production Kubernetes clusters.
• Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitLab.
• Manage Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure and integrate with on‑premise environments.
• Support physical data‑center operations, virtualization (OpenStack, QEMU, Hyper‑V) and automation.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning with Ansible and Terraform.
• Administer Linux systems (Ubuntu, Talos) and develop scripts in Python and Bash.
• Configure networking components (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, load balancers) across cloud and on‑premise setups.
• Handle database administration (PostgreSQL, Redis, ClickHouse) and distributed storage (Ceph, NFS, S3).
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using Zabbix, Prometheus, and the ELK Stack.
• Apply security hardening, SIEM (Wazuh), and integrate vulnerability scanners (Snyk, SonarQube) into pipelines.
• Plan disaster recovery and manage automated backups (e.g., AWS S3 Glacier).

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional DevOps engineering experience.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Completed a four‑year college degree.
• Proven track record of managing Azure cloud and on‑premise infrastructure.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams on large, complex systems.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and ability to take ownership of work.
