DevOps Engineer (Azure & On-Premise) – Remote (Latin America)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our client’s engineering team remotely from Latin America. The role focuses on designing, deploying and maintaining both Azure cloud and on‑premise infrastructure, ensuring reliable delivery of applications through automated pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, scale and operate production‑grade Kubernetes clusters on Azure and on‑premise environments.
• Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitLab.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration with Terraform and Ansible.
• Manage Linux servers (Ubuntu/Talos), virtualization platforms (OpenStack, QEMU, Hyper‑V) and networking components (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, load balancers).
• Administer databases such as PostgreSQL, Redis and ClickHouse, and storage systems like Ceph, NFS and S3.
• Implement monitoring, logging and alerting solutions (Prometheus, Zabbix, ELK Stack) and integrate security tools (Wazuh, Snyk, SonarQube) into pipelines.
• Participate in disaster‑recovery planning, backup automation and security hardening.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of professional DevOps experience.
• Advanced English communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Proven track record of working in Agile/Scrum teams and taking ownership of complex systems.

• Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps.
• Kubernetes orchestration.
