About the role

The Payroll Analyst will ensure accurate processing of payroll and related accounting activities for our clients in Ecuador. You will work closely with suppliers, internal teams, and regulatory bodies to guarantee compliance with legal and tax requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Verify that supplier documents meet legal requirements.
• Enter payment provisions, withholdings, expenses, checks, invoices, credit notes, and journal entries.
• Register bank charges and perform bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly payroll runs and record payroll accounting entries.
• Control the proper closing of balance‑sheet accounts and inter‑module balances.
• Prepare monthly and annual tax declaration forms and related transactional annexes.
• Obtain IESS contribution sheets, payment vouchers, and loan documents as needed.
• Generate simple client‑requested reports and prepare forms for the Ministry of Labor, municipalities, and other authorities.
• Maintain internal control over payroll processes, organize legal and accounting folders, and archive client documentation.
• Issue checks according to client needs and handle payroll‑related notices, terminations, and registrations in the MDT system.

Required profile

• University degree.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll or related accounting functions.
