Junior/Mid Full Stack Software Engineer (C#/.NET, AWS)

About the role

North Highland is looking for a Junior to Mid‑level Full Stack Software Engineer to join its Quito team. You will help migrate an outbound EDI platform to AWS‑based microservices, using C#/.NET and AI‑augmented development tools.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend modules with C#/.NET.
• Design PostgreSQL schemas and manage data migrations.
• Write unit and end‑to‑end tests and support CI/CD pipelines.
• Build APIs, microservices, and AWS deployment pipelines (Lambda, API Gateway, S3).
• Collaborate with a US‑based engineering team in stand‑ups, PR reviews, and client‑visible discussions.
• Leverage AI coding assistants such as Copilot or Claude to accelerate development.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of software development experience.
• Strong written English; verbal skills can develop on the job.
• Authorized to work in Ecuador without sponsorship.
