Customer Support Agent – US Timezones (PST/EST)

About the role

JobHire.ai is looking for a proactive Customer Support Agent to guide new users through the onboarding phase of our AI‑driven job search platform. You will work directly with US‑based users, helping them activate their profiles, stay engaged, and achieve early success in their job search.

Key responsibilities

• Engage users via chat and calls during onboarding and early usage.
• Identify low‑activity or at‑risk users and reach out to re‑activate them.
• Act as a human recovery layer: understand frustrations, diagnose issues, and rebuild trust.
• Provide clear, empathetic guidance on improving profiles, CVs, and job search strategies.
• Recommend paid add‑ons such as resume reviews when they add real value.
• Collect user feedback and share recurring patterns with the Product team.

Required profile

• 2+ years experience in customer success, sales, account management, or support‑driven sales with US customers.
• Fluent or native English and Russian.
• Ability to work full‑time (40 hours) within US time zones (PST‑EST).
• Proactive mindset – comfortable reaching out before tickets are created.
• Strong persuasion, negotiation and objection‑handling abilities.
• Data‑driven focus on conversion, retention and unit economics.
• Reliable high‑speed internet connection (no VPN required).
