Agentic Software Engineer (OpenAI Codex) – Remote (Latin America)

About the role

We are looking for an Agentic Software Engineer specialized in OpenAI Codex to join our talent network and work remotely with U.S. clients on project‑based assignments across Latin America. You will become an integral part of the client’s engineering team, collaborating daily with designers and developers to deliver AI‑augmented software solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate into client teams and contribute to full‑stack development using Java, Python, C#, React, Node, and related technologies.
• Leverage OpenAI Codex as the primary development environment to generate and coordinate code across large, multi‑file systems.
• Design and maintain AI‑first development workflows from specification through deployment, including continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
• Perform disciplined human‑in‑the‑loop reviews and risk‑adjusted validation of AI‑generated code, especially for safety‑critical components.
• Iterate on AI output through structured feedback loops and improve context engineering practices.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and asynchronous collaboration.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software development experience with full‑stack architectures.
• Advanced English proficiency and a completed four‑year college degree.
• Deep hands‑on experience using OpenAI Codex to drive the majority of implementation code.
• Strong ability to translate complex product requirements into AI‑friendly specifications.
• Proven track record delivering production‑grade software in AI‑accelerated environments.
• Curiosity for emerging AI‑native engineering practices and continuous improvement.
