Senior .NET Framework Engineer – Monolith & Production Support

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our US‑based team and support a mature, large‑scale SaaS platform serving the K‑12 nutrition sector. The role focuses on maintaining and evolving a long‑lived monolithic application built on the .NET Framework, providing high‑level production support, complex debugging, and incremental feature enhancements.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve production incidents across the full stack (API → BLL → DAL → DB).
• Read, modify, and extend existing C# code within a .NET Framework 4.x environment.
• Debug, write, and optimise complex T‑SQL stored procedures and manage business logic at the database layer.
• Implement new features and enhancements within the existing layered architecture.
• Monitor and troubleshoot background jobs using Hangfire.
• Contribute to both backend services and the modern Angular frontend to ensure seamless performance.
• Collaborate with an embedded staff‑augmentation team to meet mission‑critical application needs.

Required profile

• Extensive hands‑on experience with .NET Framework 4.x, C#, ASP.NET Web API and OWIN.
• Deep expertise in SQL Server, T‑SQL, and stored‑procedure optimisation.
• Proven ability to work with legacy monolithic systems and perform production support.
• Comfortable navigating multi‑layered architectures and complex call stacks.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
