About the role

The Key Account Manager will lead strategic relationships with international customers, ensuring their needs are understood and met through customized wood product solutions. This full‑time, on‑site position is based in the Quito Metropolitan Area.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of key international accounts, maintaining long‑term relationships.
  • Coordinate pricing, terms, and contract negotiations to meet both client and company objectives.
  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts and contribute to business planning and revenue targets.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify growth opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Collaborate with production, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure timely delivery and service excellence.
  • Conduct regular client visits, handle escalations, and support after‑sales service.

Required profile

  • Proven experience in key account management or B2B sales, preferably in industrial, construction, or wood/forestry sectors.
  • Strong business and sales planning abilities, with a track record of setting targets and forecasting performance.
  • Excellent analytical capability to interpret sales data, customer behavior, and market trends.
  • Customer‑service orientation with the ability to resolve issues and maintain high satisfaction levels.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Industrial Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
