Fracturing Engineer – Production Enhancement (Ecuador)

About the role

Halliburton is seeking a Fracturing Engineer to join its Production Enhancement team in Ecuador. The role focuses on planning, executing, and analyzing hydraulic fracturing and acid treatments to optimize well performance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance and analysis during planning and execution of frac and acid treatments.
• Analyze pressure data on‑site, execute diagnostic pumping techniques, and interpret fluid system reactions.
• Collaborate with internal and external customers, operations, and Business Development teams to ensure efficient job execution.
• Verify equipment and materials, conduct pre‑job fluid testing, and prepare technical documentation.
• Validate end‑of‑job packets and support technology roll‑outs for new surface and subsurface solutions.
• Operate monitoring software and assist with remote viewing operations (RTO).

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree in Chemical, Petroleum, or related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of field experience as a Fracturing Engineer in hydraulic fracturing operations.
• Proven experience preparing fracturing proposals for clients.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
