Field Installation & Service Technician

About the role

We are seeking a technical, energetic and self‑reliant Field Installation & Service Technician to support our Latin America accounts. You will be the primary point of contact for customers, handling installations, training, and equipment optimisation across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the commercial team in selling food‑processing equipment and related services.
• Plan, manage and execute mechanical and electrical assembly, installation and commissioning of equipment.
• Lead mechanical and electrical subcontractors and train customers on operation, maintenance and performance optimisation.
• Conduct performance trials, demonstrate value and provide warranty support by diagnosing failures, ordering parts and coordinating repairs.
• Deliver technical feedback to Engineering and R&D to improve equipment design and functionality.

Required profile

• Technical degree in electrical, mechanical or automation engineering is desirable but not mandatory.
• Experience with installation and programming of variable frequency drives (VFDs).
• Background in food‑processing equipment installation or similar industrial environments.
