Tech Lead – Sanity CMS (Remote, Latin America)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Tech Lead to drive large‑scale Sanity CMS migration projects for our U.S. clients. You will join the client’s existing engineering team, collaborating daily with designers and engineers while providing technical leadership and architectural guidance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end CMS migration initiatives, including content modeling, data mapping, transformation, and migration strategy.
• Define and enforce architecture decisions for backend services and API‑driven solutions.
• Work closely with cross‑functional stakeholders (product, content, engineering) to ensure seamless integration and data integrity.
• Mentor and guide engineering team members through complex technical challenges.
• Identify technical risks, design mitigation plans, and oversee deployment workflows on cloud platforms.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional full‑stack software engineering experience.
• 3+ years in technical leadership roles, driving architecture and leading teams.
• Advanced English proficiency and a completed four‑year college degree.
• Proven track record of large‑scale CMS migrations and headless CMS implementations.

• React and/or Next.js
• Headless CMS architectures
• Document‑based databases
• Cloud platforms and modern deployment workflows
• Experience with Adobe Experience Manager, Contentful, Strapi or WordPress (nice to have)
