Spanish Content Editing Expert - Remote

About the role

We are looking for a native or near‑native Spanish speaker to join our remote team as a Content Editing Expert. You will help train next‑generation AI models by reviewing, editing, and quality‑checking Spanish language data, ensuring high‑quality input for machine learning.

Key responsibilities

• Spot‑check Spanish items, identify quality issues, and provide feedback via Discord.
• Communicate updates, guidelines, and workflow changes to trainers and QA contributors.
• Answer language‑related questions about grammar, tone, register, and regional variations.
• Activate and monitor remote contributors, encouraging participation and tracking availability.
• Create and maintain project documentation such as style guides, FAQs, trackers, and onboarding materials.
• Support onboarding and training sessions for new team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Spanish, Linguistics, Translation, Communications, Journalism, Education, Quality Assurance or a related field.
• Native or near‑native Spanish proficiency with strong reading and writing skills.
• Good command of English for following guidelines and communicating with the team.
• 3+ years of professional experience in Spanish writing, editing, translation, localization, content QA, or related language‑review workflows.
• Familiarity with both Latin American and European Spanish variants and ability to specify supported variants.
• Experience leading or supporting remote language‑training teams is a strong plus.
