Senior Technical Support Engineer (Remote, Contract)

About the role

Mercor is looking for a Senior Technical Support Engineer to join its Customer Success team and serve talent across Latin America. You will work remotely on a contract basis, helping users navigate the platform and resolve technical issues quickly and professionally.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to support tickets from talent applying for roles on Mercor’s platform.
• Investigate and triage issues by analyzing telemetry data, network requests, and database queries.
• Diagnose common browser problems and debug web applications.
• Summarize findings, recommend product improvements, and create documentation for recurring questions.
• Maintain a positive tone and write clear, near‑perfect English replies.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience supporting customers on modern web applications.
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent hands‑on experience.
• Background in SaaS product support.
• Familiarity with support platforms such as Zendesk, Intercom, Help Scout, Freshdesk or Crisp.

What we offer
