Senior Auditor

About the role

The Cooperative of Savings and Credit "23 de Julio" is seeking a Senior Auditor to lead, support, and supervise annual audit examinations. The role ensures regulatory compliance, internal control effectiveness, and adherence to institutional policies.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct special and comprehensive audits of the cooperative's agencies.
• Perform reviews and monitoring to evaluate agencies' internal control systems.
• Verify compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Follow up on audit action plans and recommendations.
• Coordinate activities with key departments and present audit results.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Auditing.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in similar audit positions.
• Knowledge of SEPS financial regulations, risk management, and related processes.
• Proficiency in preparing reports, risk matrices, and technical documentation.
• Availability to work onsite in Cayambe, Ecuador.
