Robot Reliability Engineer (Remote)

About the role

BairesDev is seeking a Robot Reliability Engineer to support and debug real‑time vehicle systems for its robotic platforms. The role is fully remote and focuses on building tools, running experiments, and ensuring high operational availability of robotic fleets.

Key responsibilities

• Support and debug real‑time vehicle systems to maintain high availability and performance.
• Design, build, and maintain diagnostic tools and infrastructure for large‑scale issue resolution.
• Create and execute reliability experiments using physical test benches and 3D visualization tools.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve system design and prevent recurring failures.
• Conduct deep‑dive root‑cause analysis on complex failures in Linux and real‑time environments.
• Develop automated monitoring and recovery solutions to minimize fleet downtime.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Robotics, or Embedded Systems.
• Proven ability to support and debug real‑time vehicle systems and Linux environments.
• Experience building tools and infrastructure for large‑scale hardware‑software diagnostics.
• Strong understanding of system design, real‑time debugging, and operational reliability.
• Hands‑on experience with 3D visualization tools and physical test bench environments.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
