Remote Ubuntu/Linux AI Data Trainer (Hourly)

About the role

We are seeking individuals who regularly use Ubuntu/Linux to support AI data training projects. This fully remote, hourly‑paid contractor position involves installing applications, following written instructions, and completing detail‑oriented tasks independently.

Key responsibilities

• Follow detailed written guidelines and apply them carefully.
• Install and use required applications on an Ubuntu/Linux computer.
• Record actions and check work for mistakes before submission.
• Identify inconsistencies, unclear instructions, or technical issues when they arise.
• Maintain focus during repetitive or detail‑heavy tasks.
• Complete assigned work within the agreed weekly availability.
• Communicate clearly with the project team when support is needed.
• Contribute to improving the quality of AI model training data.

Required profile

• Access to a personal computer running Ubuntu/Linux.
• Comfortable installing required apps, tools, and project software.
• Tech‑savvy, reliable, and able to work independently.
• Available for approximately 15 hours per week.
• Patient, concentrated, and detail‑oriented.
• Student or junior candidates are welcome.
