Remote Rust Engineer – AI Data Training Contractor

About the role

We are looking for a remote Rust Engineer to support AI data training initiatives. You will review and generate Rust code, evaluate the reasoning behind solutions, and provide detailed feedback that helps AI models produce accurate, logical, and well‑explained answers.

Key responsibilities

• Review AI‑generated Rust code and explanations, identifying errors in ownership, borrowing, lifetimes, and algorithmic reasoning.
• Write high‑quality, idiomatic Rust solutions and pedagogical explanations.
• Rate and compare multiple AI responses based on correctness, safety, and reasoning quality.
• Create detailed prompts and responses to guide AI learning across diverse topics.
• Evaluate and rank AI outputs to improve model accuracy, fluency, and contextual relevance.
• Test AI models for inaccuracies or biases and ensure reliable performance.

Required profile

• 1‑2+ years of professional Rust development experience in backend, CLI, or systems projects.
• Strong grasp of Rust’s ownership, borrowing, and lifetime model.
• Experience with safe, idiomatic Rust patterns such as traits, generics, pattern matching, and error handling.
• Proficiency in using LLMs or AI coding assistants and validating their output.
• Excellent English writing skills for precise technical explanations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
