About the role

Mercor is seeking experienced finance professionals to support AI research labs by evaluating financial models and data sets. This fully remote contract position offers flexible hours and the opportunity to influence cutting‑edge AI training pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Assess financial models and strategies to improve AI model training and performance.
• Review and analyze complex financial data for compliance with industry standards.
• Provide structured feedback to AI research teams to enhance data quality.
• Collaborate with subject‑matter experts to ensure dataset relevance and accuracy.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet project deadlines.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in hedge funds, private equity, investment banking, equity research, corporate finance, or venture capital.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial data.
• Self‑motivated and comfortable working remotely.
