Reconciliation Production Support – LATAM

About the role

We are looking for a Reconciliation Production Support Expert to lead end‑to‑end reconciliation and settlement activities across the LATAM region. The role ensures the accuracy, completeness and integrity of financial transactions across multiple payment channels while supporting both operational and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily, intraday and batch reconciliation across payment systems, host platforms and external networks (cards, ATM, POS, digital channels).
• Identify, investigate and resolve reconciliation breaks, unmatched records and financial discrepancies.
• Handle L1/L2 issues, conduct root‑cause analysis and document resolutions.
• Validate settlement files, clearing reports and financial postings; resolve duplicate or missing transactions.
• Support change, release and data‑validation activities during system upgrades, UAT/SIT testing and post‑deployment checks.
• Collaborate with banks, payment networks, finance teams and auditors to provide status updates and ensure compliance.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities to reduce manual effort and improve turnaround time.

Required profile

• 8–12 years of experience in payments reconciliation, settlement or related financial transaction processing.
• Proven ability to manage exception handling, problem management and root‑cause analysis.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with experience working with banks, payment networks and audit teams.
• Experience supporting system releases, UAT/SIT testing and data validation.
