Project Manager – Operation Readiness

About the role

As a Project Manager in the Regional Operations Support team for Service Onshore, you will lead engineering projects that ensure operational readiness of wind farms, supporting the transition from construction to service and optimizing turbine performance.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with sales from proposal through FOI stage and forecast CAPEX for new wind farms.
• Oversee tool CAPEX, ensure adherence to Operational Readiness & Service sales frameworks (gates N to Q).
• Maintain project plans using MS Planner and draft RSPL to generate site SS.
• Create site‑specific tools catalogue and ensure equipment is on‑site for service readiness.
• Review data for BI reports, monitor new site performance up to 12 months, and track service KPIs.
• Identify and communicate service risks from installation through first‑year production.
• Participate in lessons‑learned sessions and provide PM support for special cases.

Required profile

• University degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience, preferably in the wind or broader energy sector.
• Knowledge of Vestas fleet and experience interacting with local authorities is a plus.
• Strong diagnostic and root‑cause analysis skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Physical fitness to access turbines.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and perform under pressure.

Required skills

• Intermediate MS Office, especially Excel.
• Proficiency with MS Planner.
• Experience with BI reporting tools.
