Processing Team Lead (Remote)

About the role

World Business Lenders is seeking a remote Processing Team Lead to oversee the end‑to‑end handling of commercial loan applications. You will ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery while guiding a team of loan processors.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the processing lifecycle of commercial loan applications from submission to closing.
• Review supporting documents such as bank statements, corporate records, and collateral paperwork.
• Verify insurance requirements, including homeowners/property insurance where applicable.
• Conduct initial file reviews to confirm alignment with internal lending guidelines.
• Coordinate with merchants, brokers, and internal stakeholders to obtain missing information.
• Assign tasks, monitor workflow, and ensure service‑level agreement compliance for the processing team.
• Perform quality checks and escalate high‑risk or incomplete files to underwriting or management.
• Maintain accurate records in internal systems and suggest process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in loan processing, credit operations, or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of loan documentation, collateral requirements, and insurance verification.
• Proven ability to lead or support a team in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook.
