Payroll Country Owner – Ecuador

About the role

Strada is looking for a Payroll Country Owner for Ecuador to lead the delivery and compliance of its cloud‑based payroll solution, Strada Cloud Pay (SCP). The role will act as the subject‑matter expert on Ecuadorian payroll legislation, ensuring the platform meets local regulatory standards while driving continuous improvement and competitiveness.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary reference for payroll compliance, legislation and local regulations in Ecuador.
• Monitor upcoming changes to tax and labour laws through alerts, professional associations and external advisors.
• Collaborate with product configuration teams to update SCP country workbooks and prioritize enhancements that reduce manual workarounds.
• Review and optimise existing payroll procedures and checklists to align with best‑practice standards.
• Ensure cross‑platform compliance and certify the SCP workbook for general availability; coordinate external audits and recertifications.
• Enhance Strada Pay’s market offering in terms of functionality, cost‑effectiveness and user experience.

Required profile

• Deep knowledge of Ecuadorian payroll legislation and regulatory environment.
• Proactive attitude in scanning legislative updates and translating them into product requirements.
• Strong collaboration skills with operations, product, service readiness, sales and account management teams.
• Experience in guiding product road‑maps and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
