Learning & Assessment Consultant – Ambato

About the role

Cambridge University Press & Assessment is seeking a motivated Learning & Assessment Consultant to drive commercial growth in Ecuador. You will act as a trusted partner for schools, institutions and channel partners, promoting Cambridge English learning and assessment solutions across the assigned territory.

Key responsibilities

• Generate revenue and profitability by developing new business opportunities and expanding existing customer relationships.
• Visit schools, agents and exam centres to provide tailored support and ensure order fulfilment.
• Collaborate with distributors and partners to maximise sales performance.
• Record all customer interactions in Salesforce to support accurate forecasting.
• Contribute to local marketing initiatives and share market and competitor insights.
• Uphold Cambridge values, ethics and compliance standards.

Required profile

• Degree or high‑school diploma.
• Strong knowledge of the Ecuadorian education system.
• Proven sales or business‑development experience, preferably in education.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Highly organised, resilient and results‑oriented.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience using CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.
