Junior Software Engineer – Remote AI Training Role

About the role

We are seeking a Junior Software Engineer to join a fully remote AI training program serving Latin America. The role involves reviewing AI‑generated code, rating responses, and creating coding challenges to help improve model performance. Work is asynchronous and project‑based, allowing flexible hours up to 40 per week.

Key responsibilities

• Review and evaluate code produced by AI models for accuracy, efficiency and best‑practice compliance.
• Rate AI responses on correctness, instruction‑following and overall quality.
• Design original computer‑science questions and coding challenges to test AI capabilities.
• Identify bugs, errors and inconsistencies in AI‑generated code using structured guidelines.
• Provide clear, constructive written feedback to improve future AI outputs.
• Follow project guidelines, quality standards and confidentiality requirements.

Required profile

• Software engineering experience at any level (junior, mid‑level or senior).
• Proficiency in at least one of the listed programming languages.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
• Background in full‑stack, backend, frontend, mobile or any engineering discipline.
• Legal authorization to work in one of the eligible Latin American countries.
