Junior Finance Executive (Level 1)

About the role

The Junior Finance Executive supports the finance team in day‑to‑day accounting and reporting tasks. Working under senior managers, you will gain hands‑on experience with financial record‑keeping, bookkeeping, and basic analysis while contributing to the smooth operation of the finance department.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and payroll.
• Enter and reconcile invoices, receipts, expenses, and bank statements using accounting software.
• Process vendor invoices, track payments, and assist with customer invoicing and collections.
• Support preparation of financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash‑flow statements.
• Assist in generating regular financial reports and identifying key performance indicators.
• Contribute to variance analysis and help prepare simple financial models.
• Provide administrative support, file documents, and ensure data accuracy.
• Collaborate with finance, operations, and support teams to gather information and communicate financial matters.

Required profile

• Excellent English communication (B2 level or higher).
• 1‑2 years of experience in a similar finance or accounting role.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (preferred).
• Understanding of accounting principles, GAAP, and financial regulations.
• Strong attention to detail, ethical conduct, and ability to handle confidential information.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
• Microsoft Excel (advanced spreadsheet skills).
• General accounting software proficiency.
