About the role

The Software Quality Assurance Engineer will ensure that both internally developed and third‑party applications meet functional, technical and quality standards before they are released to production. This role is critical to delivering reliable digital experiences for users of the cooperative’s financial platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Execute quality assurance activities for internal and external applications prior to production release.
• Design, document and maintain test scripts, cases and scenarios to validate solution functionality.
• Identify, log and track defects discovered during testing, ensuring their resolution.
• Validate performance and operation of applications, servers and communication equipment slated for deployment.
• Collaborate closely with development, infrastructure teams and external providers to guarantee high‑quality deliveries.
• Promote best practices in QA and continuous improvement of technology processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Informatics or a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in software development and/or quality assurance.
• Intermediate English reading comprehension for technical documentation (desired).

Required skills

• Proficiency with Visual Studio and .NET Core.
• Experience using Oracle databases.
• Familiarity with Team Foundation Server (TFS) for source control.
• Knowledge of object‑oriented programming and web services.
• Understanding of software development methodologies and database fundamentals.
