Freelance Strategy Consultant for AI Training & Evaluation

About the role

We are looking for an experienced strategy consultant to help design and evaluate AI‑driven consulting simulations. This remote, freelance position involves translating real‑world consulting engagements into structured learning environments that train advanced language models.

Key responsibilities

• Build realistic consulting project scenarios, including industry context, financial data, constraints and incomplete information.
• Design structured consulting tasks for AI agents such as market sizing, commercial due diligence, cost optimisation, growth strategy and operational diagnosis.
• Define evaluation criteria, grading frameworks and golden‑answer solutions to calibrate an LLM‑based assessment system.
• Collaborate independently to produce clear, client‑ready deliverables for each simulated task.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on project experience at a top‑tier strategy firm (McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Oliver Wyman, Roland Berger, Monitor Deloitte, EY‑Parthenon, Kearney, Strategy&).
• Proven ability to structure ambiguous problems, build financial models or market analyses, and synthesize findings under tight deadlines.
• Experience presenting and defending recommendations in uncertain environments.
• Willingness to work with lightweight, non‑technical tools; no deep technical background required.
