About the role

This position provides direct patient care in an oncology setting, focusing on the safe preparation and administration of chemotherapy treatments. The nurse will ensure accurate clinical assessment, medication handling, and thorough documentation of each patient encounter.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and clinically assess patients: verify identity, review pre‑treatment conditions, record vital signs, and identify any changes that could affect care.
• Prepare and safely administer chemotherapy: review prescriptions, verify medication, dose, route, schedule, and deliver infusions according to medical orders.
• Control medications and supplies: check the prepared basket against the prescription, record discrepancies, returns, or updates before and after treatment.
• Document and follow up care: enter nursing evolution, vital signs, administered drugs, adverse events, and closure details into the system; promptly communicate updates to physicians, pharmacy, admissions, and other relevant areas.

Required profile

• University degree in nursing (graduated).
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience.
• Age 24 years or older.
• Knowledge of medication administration, clinical care, basic life support, and oncology nursing practices.
