Conference Producer (Remote)

About the role

Opal Group is seeking a self‑starter Conference Producer to design, develop, and deliver high‑quality virtual and live conferences for senior executives across multiple industries. This full‑time remote position will guide events from concept through onsite execution, ensuring compelling agendas and speaker line‑ups.

Key responsibilities

• Lead assigned conferences from idea to delivery, including agenda creation, speaker recruitment, content development, and event planning.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, topics, and challenges relevant to each conference.
• Analyze research and feedback to craft agendas that meet market needs and add value for attendees and sponsors.
• Identify, recruit, and manage speakers, moderators, and industry experts.
• Maintain relationships with industry leaders, executives, sponsors, and attendees.
• Collaborate with Audience Development, Sponsorship Sales, Marketing, and Conference Coordination teams.
• Monitor conference performance and support strategies to boost attendance and sponsorship revenue.
• Maintain accurate records of speaker communications and event updates in internal systems and CRM platforms.
• Attend and oversee live conferences, handling speaker management, opening/closing remarks, session moderation, and onsite execution as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Valid U.S. entry visa.
• Advanced English verbal and written communication skills.
• 3+ years of conference production or related experience (event programming, journalism, communications, etc.).
• Strong research, analytical, and information‑gathering abilities.
• Exceptional written communication for developing professional agendas and content.
• Excellent organizational and project‑management capabilities.
